Right solution

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

IN response to Wanneroo council’s investigation into the installation of traffic lights at Drovers Place, I agree with the idea (Times, June 17) of motorists being blocked from turning right and having to do a left turn and go to the roundabout at the Joondalup Drive and Burns Beach Road intersection.

The only reasonable way to reduce traffic congestion is to increase the lanes turning right at Wanneroo Road and Joondalup Drive. The room is there to do this and it would stop the 24-hour build-up, which backs back to the roundabout at Burns Beach Road.

The exit from Drovers Place onto Wanneroo Road needs to be brought out further down Wanneroo Road, which is also easily done.
