Stop cyber bullies

Year 10 students of Woodvale Secondary CollegeWanneroo Times

Cyber bullying is the act of continuously sending hateful and offensive remarks over the internet, predominantly using social media sites.

In less than a month, the Federal election will be held and now there are no specific laws dealing with cyber bullying. Police are restricted in their investigations into bullies online as most of the sites are run from overseas.

Australian children need protection from online bullies as the consequences can lead to depression, anxiety and suicide. The Government needs to act before this heinous offence causes further needless damage.
