Three goals to Ricky Cary, who leads the competition for goals with 18, played a pivotal role in the Swans’ fourth straight win as they held off the Falcons 11.9 (75) to 9.14 (68) at Bassendean Oval on Friday.

The Falcons, who sit outside the top four and have a bye this weekend, will find themselves two games outside finals qualification if East Fremantle defeats East Perth on Saturday.

Andrew Krakouer kicked three goals against his former side in his second game for West Perth, while fellow former Swan Matt Spencer had 11 disposals in his league debut for the Falcons.

West Perth midfielder Aaron Black was a handful for the opposition, taking 14 marks on his way to 27 disposals and five inside 50s.
