CARRAMAR Social Golf Club’s Gary McDonald earned back-to-back titles in the recent Carramar Classic.

Playing off a 16 handicap, McDonald’s 84 points had him victorious in the annual two-day stableford competition, which drew more than 120 golfers from nine clubs to the Carramar course over the WA Day long weekend.

McDonald defeated Carramar clubmate Simon Holroyd (80 points) and Marie Burke (75 points) to claim the title.

He scored an impressive 40 on day one and held off his challengers with 44 on day two.

Proceeds from the event went towards a special bike for a family through the Make a Difference Foundation.
