He combined with fellow quick Tim Miles (5-46) to create a nine-wicket pace onslaught.

A century to Fremantle opener Daniel Kennedy (112) drove the home side’s innings, with Marsh (23) delivering below expectations at semi-professional level.

Out-of-favour WA gloveman Tom Triffit (27) made a start, before falling to Centurions part-timer Randall Starr who was impressive with 3-24 off just five overs.

WA rookie Ashton Turner remained not out on three at stumps. Josh Anderson took 2-47 including the prize wicket of Marsh.

Joondalup is looking to finish the season in third, with 13 points separating the side from second-placed Claremont-Nedlands. The Centurions are safely clear of fourth-placed Subiaco Floreat.
