The Centurions’ secured their fourth-straight win by 82 runs in the one-day match at Abbett Park on Saturday. The visitors saw out their innings at 9-283 before restricting the Gulls to 201 off 46.1 overs.
A quick-fire century from wicket- keeper Josh Inglis, with 116 not out off 96 balls, lit up the Joondalup innings. Garrick Morgan (56) and Aaron Todd (37) also batted well.
Scarborough bowler Jack Laraman took 4-60 as his side’s main threat with the ball.
A number of Gulls batsmen made starts but the side could not find a combatant in the same mould as Inglis. Clint Heron (46) and Justin Coetzee (45) produced Scarborough’s top scores batting through the middle order.
