Falcons best in goal-fest

In perfect playing conditions the Falcons put through 24.8 (152) to the Sharks’ 21.3 (129), firming their hold on second spot on the premiership table.

Not even eight goals to West Coast forward Brad Dick could halt the rampaging visitors.

The Sharks had skipped out to a 20-point lead early in the first term but the Falcons soon got the balance in their favour by scoring with their first foray into their forward 50.

The second term was another arm-wrestle with the lead changing hands a number of times.
