Returning small forward Cory Dell’Olio was recruited by the Bombers in 2012, the year under investigation with regards to the club’s supplements program.

Thirty four players from Essendon’s 2012 list are expected to sit out of football while the tribunal considers the matter.

An AFL spokesman would not comment on Dell’Olio’s eligibility to play in this Friday’s game at Fremantle Oval.

‘The AFL hasn’t provided any identification on any individual players currently before the Anti-Doping Tribunal, to protect their rights,’ he said.

With the verdict date set for March 31, it also means the Falcons will likely face a Peel side missing star recruit Leroy Jetta in round two.

Jetta played 93 games for Essendon between 2007 and 2014.

In other news, a decision on Tyler Keitel’s transfer from East Perth to the Falcons is expected after an arbitration hearing today.

The side wrapped up the pre-season with a 7.5 (47) to 6.8 (44) victory over Swan Districts at Bassendean Oval on Saturday.

Forward Matt Fowler booted five goals.
