The visitors’ 19.19 (133) to 10.11 (71) victory formed their biggest winning margin and biggest score achieved since their 100-point thrashing of East Perth ten rounds ago.

It was only the third time this season the Falcons had scored more than 100 points in a match, with coach Bill Monaghan regularly speaking of the need for his side to kick bigger scores.

The triumph kept the fifth-placed Falcons’ finals hopes alive as they look to usurp fourth-placed East Fremantle, which sits two games clear.

The round 14 clash had the sides competing for the Garlic Munchers Cup, which honours the lively European heritage at both clubs.
