The carnival is a week-long youth sporting event held on the Gold Coast each July, focused on spirit and sportsmanship.

College teacher and coach Crystal Nullmeyers said it felt great to win back-to-back titles, with the Year 10 players "ecstatic" to win the grand final against Killarney Heights High (NSW) by 15 goals.

"The competition was tough, playing against specialist netball schools, national and international teams," Nullmeyers said.

She said the girls had been playing together in the Ashdale Secondary College Netball Academy since they were in Year 8, training two to three times a week and participating in the School Sport WA Netball Competition to prepare for the carnival.

"I think the girls played outstanding, they really stepped up, improved each game and gave it their all," she said.

"Aimee Littlejohn won our Most Valuable Player award, consistently playing at a very high standard, dominating the play both in attack and defence and always with a positive attitude.

"The girls had an amazing time, bonding with their team mates and also experiencing many of Queensland's tourist attractions."
