Johnson copes well with heavy schedule

The two-time national V8 ute champion leads the WA Saloon Car Championship and holds the lap record at Barbagallo Raceway.

He will be taking part in the Nightmasters Race Meeting and Championship Final at the track on September 27.

He will also race in a national series at Phillip Island on September 19-20 and said he was a 90 per cent chance of driving in the V8 ute series at Bathurst, Gold Coast and Homebush.

Johnson is involved in driver training at Barbagallo and likes to "give back to the loyal fans and allow them to experience the thrill of driving fast" through his monthly V8 Drive Day. His Commodore gets up to 200km/h down the hill at the track. The next day is on Monday, September 7.
