Well, what a game that was! My nerves and excitement kept me going throughout, not knowing what was going to happen next!

Kick-off happened at 2pm and Glory immediately started attacking and creating chances to score, trying to find a hole in the Brisbane Roar’s defence. Occasionally, Roar would make a breakaway but Glory goalkeeper Danny Vukovic was always on top.

With the game still at deadlock, Brisbane managed to get past Perth’s defence and shoot past Vukovic in the 38th minute. But Glory kept attacking and after half-time in the 48th minute Andy Keogh was fouled in the box. Penalty!

Keogh coolly converted to equalise, taking it to 1-1. Brisbane were taken aback by that, but in the 54th minute, out of the blue, hit a wonderful shot into the top left corner. Glory continued on relentlessly and with only 20 minutes to go, equalised! Keogh with his second goal scored to put us all on our toes. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, with four minutes to go out of nowhere Keogh scored his hat-trick.

Final score: Perth Glory 3 Brisbane Roar 2
