Krakouer lively in reserves clash

He topped the Falcons tackle count with six and had the same inside 50s and a goal in the reserves’ loss to Perth on Saturday at Arena Joondalup.

He finished the game with 16 possessions and told the Times after the game he had ‘struggled a bit today’.

He was uncertain about when he might get the nod to make his Falcons league debut.

‘I’m not sure yet, I’ll play it by ear and see how my form and fitness goes,’ he said.

‘I’ll see what happens in the next two or three weeks and hopefully I’ll be able to put my hand up for selection.’

He said he was enjoying being at the reigning premiers.

‘They’re a great bunch of guys here, they’re a really good club with a great environment and culture,’ he said.
