Many of the club’s female sponsors and members, including guest speaker Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts, attended the pre-game president’s lunch, the second biggest of the season.

‘West Perth recognises the contribution women make to our club from driving kids to games, to fundraising and to being represented on the board.
‘Further highlighting the development of female football in the West Perth district, two girls made the State 16s schoolgirls team ” Kim Peak and Kirralee Ralls.’
Supporting the day were former players, including 1969 premiership rover and West Perth Team of the Century member Bill Valli.
Valli, who attended with his son, said ‘regretfully’ he didn’t get to many games.
‘I said to (director) Richard Homsany, who invited me here, it’s the highlight of the year for me,’ Valli said.
‘It is like a family this club; even though I haven’t been back for a long time, I come back intermittently’
