WA soccer: Little joy for struggling Gulls and Jacks

Staff WriterWanneroo Times

The eighth-placed Gulls were disappointed to come away with a 2-2 draw against 11th-placed Perth Glory at home, a side they would normally beat.

At Dalmatinac Park, ninth-placed ECU Joondalup suffered its third-straight loss when Cockburn City won 2-1.

The Jacks’ Tommy Amphlett levelled the score at 1-1 in the 50th minute and they held on until the 80th minute when Harry O’Brien scored again.
