In the men’s game, the Wolves were outscored 27-9 in the final quarter at the Bendat Basketball Centre to be defeated by the 12th-placed Hawks 97-71 on Friday. It was the biggest and only the third loss for the league leaders this season.

The side recovered to defeat Rockingham 111-78 at Joondalup Basketball Stadium on Saturday, led by 29 points from Trian Iliadis.

It was the opposite situation for the women, who defeated Perry Lakes 72-46 but lost to the league-leading Flames 94-78.
