Motocross come and try day for juniors

YOUNGSTERS wanting to have a go at motocross on two or four wheels can head to Wanneroo Junior Motocross Club on February 2.

The ‘come and try’ day aims to allow juniors to try motocross in a safe environment, with kids placed into age and bike size groups.

The day is open to riders who turned four before January 1, 2020 or were 18 and under, and have never held a Motorcycling WA licence.

They can take part in four 10-minute races and must wear correct motocross boots and approved helmet, chest guard, gloves and goggles.

Motorcycling WA will supply free one-day licences for the day and riders must have a parent or guardian present at all times.

Gates open at 7am with a riders briefing from 7.45am and racing form 9am.
