Mullaloo SLSC moves up in pool rescue skills

Finishing 10th out of 50 competing clubs, it was an improvement for Mullaloo after finishing 17th last year.

Mullaloo brothers Jake (under-15) and Callan (under-13) Smith brought home a combined tally of one gold, five silver and three bronze medals, while Sorrento’s only competitor Liam Ryan finished in the top 10 in five of his six events.

‘It was great that the club moved up the rankings and all the boys achieved personal best times,’ Mullaloo SLSC general manager of surf sports Sandy Clarke said.
