Northern suburbs baseball team heading for NSW for National Little League meet

A GROUP of junior baseball players from northern suburbs are heading to New South Wales this month for the National Little League Baseball Championships.

The Northern Suburbs Baseball Charter, which includes players from the Carine, Wanneroo and North Coast clubs, will represent WA in Lismore from June 8 to 13.

It qualified after winning the Little League State Championships against Swan Hills.

Parent Kristy Caullay said they would leave this Sunday and were aiming high.

“If we progress to become national champions, we will then qualify for the Little League Baseball World Series to be held at Williamsport PA, USA,” she said.
