Fremantle took 189cm Subiaco forward Michael Wood at pick 16, before taking tall South Fremantle defender Thomas Vandeleur at number 32.

West Coast also looked to develop WA talent, taking slightly-built Claremont defender Rowen Powell at pick 22.

Earlier, the Eagles continued their push for midfielders, selecting 18-year-old Will Maginness from Victoria’s Oakleigh Chargers with their first pick at number seven.

Talented South Fremantle forward Blaine Johnson was WA’s final draftee, taken by Carlton at pick number 43.

The Dockers used their final selection to snare 19-year-old Jacob Ballard from the VFL’s Northern Blues at pick 47.
