Player takes broken ankle on the chin

The utility player was injured when he and a team-mate were caught up in a fight involving Subiaco players outside a nightclub in Leederville on March 29.

He had eight screws inserted in the joint and will not be able to start walking without crutches for about 10 weeks.

"Ill get through it," he told the Weekender on Saturday after watching his team-mates against Perth at Joondalup.
