The sides did not take the field until 3pm because of Saturday’s rain, limiting the final day to 60 overs at Kingsway.

Resuming at 2-40, the Roos were chasing 174 for victory and were within four runs of the triumph heading into the final delivery of the match. But the visitors kept remaining batsmen Kyle Millar and Mathew Dzodzos to two resulting in a drawn game with Wanneroo on 9-171.

Andrew Holder was the pick of the Subiaco Floreat bowlers, taking 3-21 off just six overs.

Millar was unbeaten on 30 sharing top scoring honours with wicket keeper Christian Smith.
