WANNEROO five-time national Saloon Cars champion Grant Johnson relished the wet yesterday on his way to winning his category at the Supercars round at Barbagallo Raceway.
The national champion and two-times Australian V8 Utes title holder powered home in his VT Commodore in race 3 on the rain-affected track ahead of a win in race 4 at the end of the meeting.

“You really have to drive really smooth.
“I managed to get off the line reasonably well, led into the first corner and then gapped the field.”
Young local driver Alex Rullo impressed in the Super2 Series ahead of Ford driver Scott McLaughlin stealing the show in race 2 of the Supercars with a win from 19th on the grid.
