Ultimate Test for netball fans

It will be the first international netball Test held at Perth Arena and the fourth, and possibly deciding, Constellation Cup match against the Silver Ferns, following two games in New Zealand and a third in the eastern states.

It will be the first time WA has hosted an international Test match since 2011 and will be the culmination of the biggest year of netball ever in Australia following the Netball World Cup Sydney 2015, which takes place in August.

Tourism Minister Kim Hames said Australia had bragging rights after defeating New Zealand four-nil in last years cup.

Netball matches between the Diamonds and the Silver Ferns have become one of Australias great sporting rivalries and I expect that competitive streak to be at its height in the deciding Test of the Constellation Cup, Dr Hames said.

In February, Netball Australia secured a new broadcast deal that will result in more live netball broadcasts than ever before.
