The pair promoted the WA leg of the V8 Supercars Championship in April with a friendly practice run against media representatives with a virtual race on simulators at Ignition Racing Wangara.
Former Leeming resident Tander is the only WA driver in the competition and one of the most experienced with 17 years� racing while 22-year-old Mostert is dubbed a future superstar.
Tander said the racing car simulators were a good test of skill and precision.

READ NOW"We were even racing on Barbagallo Raceway, complete with all the circuit challenges," he said.
"It was a fun way to practice our skills and some of the journos weren't too shabby either."
Tander and Mostert are both in good form in the lead up to the SuperSprint.
Tander said he was the third fastest out of 25 drivers in Adelaide for the Clipsal 500 that put him in third placing for the championship.
�I�m happy with that start; it’s a nice solid start to the championship.
"Car speed has been great, the team's done a really good job over the Christmas break going into this season and we�ve started strongly."
Tander said it was great to be back in Perth representing and that he looked forward to the event most each year.
"I haven't had the greatest success here the last couple of years but I�m hoping to turn that around," he said.
"The form that we�ve had since the start of the year suggests that we�ll be among the front bunch when we come to Perth for the race."
Mastert said he was excited to come to the Perth round and hoped to back the good result from last year.
