Wanneroo Adult Equestrian Club to host showjumping training day at Whiteman Park

THE Wanneroo Adult Equestrian Club is holding its inaugural showjumping training day next month.

Secretary Charlotte Cleary said it would be a first for the club, with renowned instructor Diane Bennit providing feedback and guidance.

“Showjumping, cross country and eventing has a greater presence in WA equestrianism than we have ever seen and the committee recognised that many riders who want to compete in these disciplines simply don’t have the equipment or means to further their training individually,” she said.

“It is our aim to provide not just our members but all adult equestrians with the opportunity to learn, progress and have fun in a friendly, encouraging environment.”

Held at the Whiteman Park equestrian grounds on November 4, the event will also coincide with the club’s first of two registration and information days for 2019.

“With the club undergoing a rebrand this year, 2019 provides further opportunity for the club to grow and our aim is to have a jam-packed calendar for members and outside riders alike,” Ms Cleary said.
