Wanneroo Lacrosse Club dominates finals action

Staff WriterWanneroo Times

THE strength of the Wanneroo Lacrosse Club will be reflected in an abundance of blue and red across the six men’s and women’s state grand finals this weekend.

The Greenwood-based club is fielding a side in all but two of those deciders at Goodchild Park in Hamilton Hill, including the premier men’s State League final where it faces Bayswater.

The women’s team is also vying for the top prize when it opposes East Fremantle in the A Grade division. The only title games that do not feature Wanneroo are the women’s B-Grade match between Subiaco and East Fremantle and the A-Reserve showdown involving Bayswater and Wembley.

The men’s Division 3 grand final is a local domination with Wanneroo Blue coming up against Wanneroo Red.
