And the women’s side remains on top of the table after a 69-42 home victory over the Mandurah Magic on Saturday night.

In the men’s clash, the Wolves led at every break to secure an impressive 122-110 triumph over the fourth-placed Magic.

The result sent Mandurah down to seventh place, while Wanneroo jumped from seventh to sixth.

Trian Illadis topped the Wolves’ scorecard on 27 points, while Damian Matacz hit 26. Guard Reece Maxwell put in one of his best performances of the year to lead the Wanneroo’s three-point count.

Maxwell hit four from five attempts outside on his way to 18 points.

Earlier in the night, Nikita Martin shot a game-high 17 points to lead the Wolves women’s win.

Eleventh-placed Mandurah could only watch on as Wanneroo’s lead continued to mount until the 27-point final buzzer margin.

Ainsleigh Sanders took a game-high 10 rebounds.

The Wanneroo women have this weekend off, while the men travel to Geraldton face the Buccaneers.
