TWO local youngsters have aced their way to Queensland to represent WA at the Australian Teams Championships from June 29 to July 4.

This is the most prestigious team event that 11/u and 13/u tennis athletes can be selected for, with teams playing against some of the most talented players from around Australia as well as several international teams from the Asia-Pacific region.

The WA contingent includes 12 players and four coaches.

From Hocking, Taylah Preston has been chosen for the 13/u girls team, while Duncraig’s Amy Findlay has made the 11/u girls team.

Duncraig’s Amy Findlay will represent WA in the 11/u girls team.
