Mrs Newell said it was an honour to have been recognised for the work she has done.

‘I design all of the wallpaper prints and do a lot of work behind the scenes so I am very grateful for this award,’ she said. ‘This has always been my dream and I have kept it in my focus, and could not be happier with how the business is going.’

More than 100 people attended the awards night including Brand MHR Gary Gray, Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels and Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams.
