‘Hot’ clothes help women in need

Staff ReporterWeekend Kwinana Courier

Police initially intended to return the new-with-tags garments to the store they were stolen from, but the owners, who had already accepted an insurance payout for the items, urged officers to instead give them to someone less fortunate.

Anne Moore, executive officer of the local women’s refuge, said she was thrilled to accept the donation.

It consisted of a considerable amount of women’s clothing, shoes, towels and a few items of men’s clothing.
