Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley and Aretha Franklin became staples in Veruschka’s music library, and represent a small handful of many artists that have inspired her to sing.

Veruschka started singing initially as a hobby at church in her teens. A woman from her church offered to give Veruschka free singing lessons and she honed her voice and started songwriting.

A demo of Veruschka’s song Easier was a selected as a top 10 finalist in the Urban Music Category for the Oz Music Awards. She also performed at the MTV After Party. Veruschka has worked as a vocalist in film, released her own music independently and performs on regular basis.
