Casuarina fire: person of interest captured on dashcam

A MAN Strikeforce Vulcan officers believe can help with their investigation into a bushfire in Casuarina on January 27 was captured on dashcam footage.

Department of Fire and Emergency Officers attended the out of control bushfire around 10.10am on Bombay Boulevard near Thomas Road.

Approximately one hectare of native vegetation was burnt.

At 10:04 am, the man officers would like to speak to was seen riding away from the fire on a black motorised bicycle.

He rode north along Bombay Boulevard, turning left into Thomas Road and headed towards the Kwinana Freeway.

The man is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, with fair skin, a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt, cream coloured pants and black sneakers at the time.
