THE latest play at Rockingham Theatre, It’s my party and I’ll die if I want to, opened with a full house for the theatre’s charity night performance.

There were two organisations represented for the charity performance – Baldivis Rotary Club and Rockingham C.R.E.W. (Christians, Ready, Equipped and Willing).

Bernie Spencer received a cheque for $290, which she said would be used in the Rotary focus on youth and family projects.

“Baldivis Rotary Club is a fairly new branch of the worldwide organisation and is always looking for new members to help with their local projects.” she said.

CREW founder Julie-Anne Moyle received a cheque for $200.

“This will pay for two of the barbecue evenings which we put on each week, to help out people and families who may need a helping hand,” she said.

The play continues at 8pm on September 1, 2, 8 and 9. Tickets can be purchased online at www.rockinghamth-eatre.com or from the Rockingham Visitor’s Centre.
