CHILDREN’S drama and musical theatre classes will resume at Koorliny Arts Centre on February 3.

The classes form part of the centre’s aim to grow as a dynamic creative performing arts hub that will enrich the social, emotional and cultural landscape of the community.

Continuing an exciting partnership with the centre, Barking Gecko Theatre Company will deliver Gecko Ensembles – in-term drama workshops – for children aged eight to 17 years on Saturdays.

Musical theatre classes, taught by Katie Williams, will be held on Saturday afternoons for children aged five to 12 years old.

Both classes nurture young people’s creative and social skills through the arts. All that is needed is enthusiasm.

Enrolments for Gecko Ensembles can be made by visiting www.barkinggecko.|com.au.

Enrolment forms for musical theatre classes are available at the Koorliny Arts Centre Box Office or at www.koorliny.com.au.

Other programs continuing at the centre in 2018 include Stories on Stage, Morning Melodies, the leisure painters group (Tuesdays from 9am to noon), the Coffee Shop Book Club and ninja classes.
