AUDITIONS are being held for the cheeky comedy Ladies Night at Rockingham Theatre Company.

Written by Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten, Ladies Night tells the story of four unemployed guys who get motivated by The Chippendales to form a male stripping act to enable them to make some fast cash to cover their debts.

They talk Bernie, a local club owner, into letting them perform in the club.

Meanwhile, they take dancing and movement lessons from Glenda, a slightly shop-worn exotic dancer.

They also take advice from Gavin, a friend of one of the four.

The cast required is seven men and one woman, ages 25 and up.

No full frontal nudity is required, but men (apart from two) must be prepared to strip and show their bare bottoms in the play.

Previous acting/dancing experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential.

No prepared audition piece is required.

Auditions will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 30 at Rockingham Theatre, 8 Attwood Way, Rockingham,

For more information, call Alison on 0417 717 520. The production will run in November.
