Latest novel unpacked at Koorliny Arts Centre’s Stories on Stage

HEAR fantasy author Juliet Marillier in conversation with Monique Mulligan at Koorliny Arts Centre’s final 2015 Stories on Stage event on October 14.

Marillier’s latest novel, Tower of Thorns, is the first in the Blackthorn and Grim series, which she says combines history, mystery and “and a sprinkling of the uncanny”.

“In each book of the series, Blackthorn and Grim are called upon to solve a mystery. The new book takes Blackthorn and Grim on a quest to help Lady Geileis of Bann,” Marillier (pictured right) said.

“A screaming monster has taken up residence in an old tower on the lady’s land, and its pitiful cries are casting a blight on all around,”

Stories on Stage starts at 7pm and costs $15, which includes supper. Books will be available to buy. Bookings are essential on 9467 7118.
