AS we celebrate Mother’s Day today, Rockingham entrepreneurs share the best advice they received from their mum.

The best bit of advice my mum gave me was: “If you generally try to do the right thing by your family and acquaintances, as a rule it should come back to you. If it doesn’t, keep trying a little harder.”

My mum would say “always set money aside for a rainy day” and “when the bills came in the door love went out the window, love is good and necessary but you can’t pay Synergy with it.” She was born in 1925 and always had a dollar if you got stuck.
