Opera singer Fiona Mariah to hit high notes at Andiamo Restaurant Rockingham

ACCLAIMED international soprano Fiona Mariah will present an evening of operatic favourites at Aria at Andiamo Restaurant.

The event, hosted by Rockingham’s Friends of Opera, includes a three-course dinner and wine package.

Fiona Mariah is a West Australian who completed her formal music studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She was awarded many prestigious scholarships and prizes and in 1994 graduated with the Academy’s highest award – Dip RAM in Opera Performance as well as a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Since then her operatic career has taken her around the world delighting her audiences with her engaging stage presence, dazzling vocal display and powerful acting abilities.

In 2002, Fiona was named Covent Garden Market Festival Performer of the Year for her One Woman opera show, which she performed regularly to the delight of the crowds. She also appeared in Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End where she was a cast member for 18 months.

Rockingham’s Friends of Opera was formed last year.

VIP tickets are $180 per person and include pre-dinner drinks, a three-course dinner and show with wine and beer throughout the evening. Tickets are also available for $150 per person and include dinner and show and wine package.

The dress code is black and white – cocktail.
