From family shows and musical theatre, to comedy, concerts and drama, as well as author talks and dance festivals, Koorliny is set to have a show to entertain everyone.

Musicals take centre stage in the Koorliny Arts Centre 2016 Performance Season, with Side by Side by Sondheim (June) and Monty Python’s Spamalot (August) on the schedule.

Slapstick comedy from The Kazoos’ Teddy Bears Picnic show and theatrical retellings of much-loved books The Peasant Prince and Snugglepot and Cuddlepie are on offer as well.

Other touring shows include Performing Lines and Malthouse Theatre’s They Saw a Thylacine, the Melbourne Comedy International Festival Roadshow, and HIT Productions’ Educating Rita and Always.. Patsy Cline.

Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Neil Diamond and Rod Stewart tribute acts are part of the Morning Melodies program, with shows on the second Friday of each month, starting with morning tea at 10am.

Stories on Stage is back for 2016, kicking off with Perth authors Laurie Steed and Susan Midalia on March 16.

Other authors already confirmed for the 2016 program include Rachael Johns, Natasha Lester, Liz Byrski, Dianne Touchell and Deb Fitzpatrick.
