THE ROCKINGHAM Bowling Club will host a Rock ’n’ Roll Dance with local dance teachers this Saturday.

Support will come from Rhythm Katz (formerly Purple Haze) and Perth dance teacher Megan Diggins from Megarock Dance School.

Safety Bay resident and member of the Rhythm Katz Greg Clarke said he was excited about the dance.

“This is a new venture for RBC and the idea is that our local Rock ’n’ Roll dance teachers, Ellie and Glenn, will hold a series of lessons over some weeks, culminating in a dance with our live band,” he said.

The first dance is on Saturday January 27 from 7.30pm to 11.30pm and lessons will begin the following week.

Anyone who loves to dance, or wants to learn, is encouraged to attend .

There will be a $10 entry fee for all the tuition and a live band.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own supper and the club bar will be open for refreshments.
