Vanessa SchmittWeekend Kwinana Courier

ROCKINGHAM hip-hop maestro OptiMystic has released a new album.

Since his successful inception back in 2009 with the release of his debut album Revamp, OptiMystic has been forging together all of his past experiences and knowledge into his latest composition that bridges the gap between urban alternative and commercial hip-hop.

The latest release Dreams Alive fosters raw emotion, driven by powerful anecdotes and social excerpts, engaging the contemporary listener.

The track album opens with a smooth, lustrous and compassionate vocal performance from the talented Tenette Smith allowing the floodgates to open for what is an onslaught of cut-throat truths from the talented MCs Sickflo and Mic Handz.

Dropping a double album back in 2016 Day of the Guiding Light, followed by the Shadow, OptiMystic relinquished his title as an Australian Independent success with his upcoming collaborative album Salty Waterz.

OptiMystic has graced the stage with the likes of Arrested Development and supported superstars Onyx and Snak The Ripper (Stompdown Killaz).
