The Nightmare Before Christmas is at Safety Bay High

PARENTS and community members attended a special production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, a fun musical presented the Safety Bay Senior High School arts department.

The family friendly theatre production, adapted from Tim Burton’s 1993 film, explores the antics of Halloweentown’s Pumpkin King Jack Skellington and features an all-star combined cast of music, drama and cheer-dance students.

Safety Bay SHS head of the arts learning area Melissa Wiltshire encouraged parents and the local community to go along to the musical production.

“We have some amazingly talented students here at Safety Bay and all the cast and crew have worked hard to make The Nightmare Before Christmas a success,” she said.

Teacher in charge of music Ashlea Reale said it had been a rewarding experience for the students. “Over the last few months our students have truly shone, pulling together rehearsals and set design with professionalism, confidence and excitement to produce an amazing experience,” she said.
