Two judges from Melbourne will fly in for the event and there will be a VIP judge from WA.

Hotel Clipper operations manager Cheryle Irvin said the body painting competition would showcase the talents of the artists and the unique artform.

“They will start painting at 7am and their artwork will be open for public viewing at 3pm,” she said.

“It will be brushes down at 5pm and the judging will start.”

Ms Irvin said the main event would be a catwalk in the function room.

There will also be a Peoples’ Choice Award.

“I hope it will become an annual event,” she said.
