TICKETS went on sale this week for the region’s premier event, the Rockingham Long Table Lunch.
Organisers are gearing up for the March 17 event, which coincides with St Patrick’s Day next year.
Created in 2015, the aim of the Rockingham Long Table Lunch is to showcase the foreshore precinct, local produce and businesses.
The Long Table Lunch was developed to brand Rockingham as a tourist destination and create a sustainable iconic event for the community.
Since its launch, the event now hosts up to 500 guests.
Over the past three years, the Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce has taken responsibility for the event with the support of local government, stakeholders and the community.
Next year’s event will feature six courses of local produce, premium wines, beers and cocktails.
An auction will raise money for Rockingham charities.
