Staff WriterWeekend Kwinana Courier

STANDING at the look out at Point Peron breathing in the ocean air and walking barefoot along the shoreline is a perfect afternoon for local artist Susan Gresham.

It is here where Susan feels at home – Point Peron gives her inspiration and sanctuary.

The spot is part of her hometown of Rockingham, a place that has given her a strong foundation to raise her children.

Gresham will launch a debut exhibition called ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ at the Rockingham Art Centre on Friday, November 16.

Her paintings are an eclectic mix of vibrancy and emotion.

She describes herself as both peaceful and wild; which reflects beautifully in her artwork.

She is a visual storyteller who uses complex layers and abstract techniques for her artwork.

Live music from local performers will create an intimate atmosphere to complement this emotional and powerful exhibition.
