A fire caused about $60,000 to three boats in Rockingham this morning

ARSON Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information about a suspicious fire at a boat yard on Point Peron Road in Rockingham.

Just after 5am this morning , Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a report of several boats on fire at a boat yard.

It is believed offender(s) entered the premises and set fire to a boat. The fire spread to two nearby boats.

The damage bill is estimated at $60,000.

Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the vicinity early this morning who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles.
