A Singleton man struck with a boat propeller on Saturday has died

A SINGLETON man (27) passed away on Sunday after he sustained serious injuries from a propeller during a boating incident in the Murray River on Saturday.

Mandurah Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a boating incident.

At about 2pm on Saturday, police received information that a man had been injured in Ravenswood. He had been on a 7.92m cabin cruiser with a number of friends.

Peel Water Police, Pinjarra Police, Mandurah Detectives and St John Ambulance attended the scene.

The injured man was taken to Peel Health Campus and was later taken by rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital.

He was in a critical condition and passed away on Sunday afternoon.

An investigation into how the man received his injuries is ongoing.
