ABOUT 20 Shoalwater residents awoke at the weekend to “amateurish” graffiti plastered over their property.

Police said the graffiti damage offences occured overnight on Saturday, July 16.

Rockingham officer in charge Senior Sergeant Brett Reyne said residents were affected primarily on roller doors and letterboxes.

He said there were pictures of penises, “it was amateurish, basic stuff.

“They did not have any artistic flair at all,” he said.

Snr Sgt Reyne believes this was a crime of opportunity.

Before the graffiti attacks a car containing six cans of spraypaint was broken into.

The offences occurred around Elektra Terrace and Atrion Lane, Shoalwater.

Police have released images of the people believed to be responsible for the graffiti attack on the South Metro Police Facebook page.

They are also asking if anyone has CCTV in the area.
