ALDI is coming to Stockland Baldivis.

Stockland Baldivis Shopping Centre is expanding its grocery, fashion and discount variety offering with a new Aldi supermarket, Rivers footwear store and Red Dot discount variety store.

The new Rivers store celebrated its official opening on October 12, while the new 664 square metre Red Dot store opened its doors on October 23.

The 1850 square metre Aldi supermarket is expected to open mid next year and will be located near the children’s play area between Kmart and Woolworths.

Combined the three new retailer openings are expected to create about 40 jobs for the local region.

Stockland Baldivis centre manager Darin Maher said staff were thrilled to be expanding the diverse retail offering.

“We recently celebrated the arrival of Rivers at the centre and have already received a great deal of positive feedback from our customers,” he said.

“Recognised as one of the best value for money variety brands in Western Australia, Red Dot also opened their doors last month, arriving just in time to meet the Christmas rush.”

“We are also looking forward to welcoming Aldi to Stockland Baldivis next year and are confident that the much-loved German grocery store chain will make an excellent addition to our existing centre offering.”
